UML Class Diagram Lecture

Here is another lecture, immidiatly following the use-case one. This time its Class Diagram, the main diagram of UML, visualizing class structure. Again, you are welcome to use it in any way you like: present it, modify it etc. Credit is all I want.

Note that the lecture does not contain a lot of text (most of the time I give verbal examples and declaration, which are not in the power point itself. Also, I had thrown out the Aggregation link from the lecture. I had it with this link for years, and this article convinced me that its useless. Here is the agenda for the lecture:

  • Introduction
  • Classes, attributes and operations
  • Relations
  • Generalization
  • Guidelines for effective class modeling

And here is a slide, just as an example:

Again, Enjoy!
